Hey all,
Just a quick post about the new catalogs:
The hidden items in the clothing catalog are:
- viking hemet click on the yellow puffle on the first page. To get the blue viking helmet, open and close the red viking helmet 4 times.
- Mixed Bracelets click on the beak of the penguin wearing the sunset dress
- Jade necklace click on the sunburst acoustic guitar
The hidden item in the wig catalog is:
- The Spikette, click on the spikester

This mission was released in March 2007. Here’s a pic of the mission info:
1. Whent the mission starts, you will be outside the vault. Talk to the penguin standing there, and he will eventually close the vault door, but won’t be able to open it again.
2. Go up into the manager’s office. Scroll around the room until you come to the couch.
3. Go underneath the couch & pick up the floppy disc and paper clip and put them in your inventory.
4. Go back out from under the couch and scroll around the room until you come to the computer.
5. Turn the computer on and put the floppy disc into it.
6. Once the computer turns on, go into ‘my files’ and then ‘Combination_Number’. It will come up with a code, which you have to remember (I would suggest writing it down). It changes each time you do the mission.
7. Go back downstairs and put the combination into the door.
NOTE: This picture is just an example. Your combination will be different.
8. Go into the vault and click on the coins on the roof. Then your spy phone will ring, telling you to go to HQ to meet G.
9. Go to HQ and talk to G and look at the video surveillance. Then ask him for his perspectave, and then if there is anything else you need to know. He will show you where to find the rooftop key. The key you need is the top left one.
10. Go back to the gift shop & then into the office again. Put the key into the lock of the door to the rooftop.
11. Once you get on the rooftop, pick up the white fibres in the drain.
12. Use the spanner in your spy phone to open the ‘Powa box’
13. Go into the power box and use the paper clip to break it.
14. Go back downstairs to the gift shop and into the vault, where the coins have fallen down. Talk to the penguin again.
15. Go back to HQ and report your findings to G. Also give him the white fibres. He will then ask you to turn the power in the night club back on. Scroll around until you come to the map with the flashing red lights, and pick up the flashlight underneath it.
16. Go to the town and talk to the brown penguin crying outside the night club.
17. Go inside the night club. Turn on your flashlight and scroll around the room until you find the speaker yoou use to get down into the boiler room.
18. Once you are in the boiler room, scroll around until you find the fuse box. Open it.
19. Inside the fuse box, there will be a mix of red and green lights. You have to turn all the lights green.
20. Once all the lights are green, the lights will turn back on.
21. Go back to HQ and talk to G. Then the mission is finished.

Hey everyone, there’s been a new post on the CPIP blog. It is about penguin mail (yet again) but has a picture of what it’s actually going to look like. Here it is:
Hello Penguins!
Penguin Mail is ALMOST ready to launch, but before it does, we wanted to get your feedback on it. Below is a image of what it will look like. After our first post about Penguin Mail a few weeks ago we got a bunch of creative comments about designs and ways to make postcards even cooler than they are now. Many of you like the logo we posted on that blog, but asked to see more of the actual design.
Here’s one view of the new Penguin Mail:
You’ll definitely get the full picture when the feature launches this month–even as early as next week.This ‘mailbox’ will allow you to send mail to your buddies even when they’re not online, save postcards, ignore postcards and delete them too. The coolest part to me is that whenever I’m in Club Penguin and receive a postcard, Penguin Mail will let me know! That way I won’t miss any cool cards from other penguins!
No matter where you are in Club Penguin, you’ll always be able to check your mail by clicking on the grey envelope at the top left of your screen.

The new clothing catalog was added to the Gift Shop today and there’s lots of new stuff to check out! Do you recognize any of it from the sneak peek earlier in the week?

Ok, today, there is a new wig and clothing catalog. Starting with the clothing catalog, the new items are:
- A conductor suit, $600
- Supernova suit, $850
- Microphone, $250
- Dazzle Dress, $600

- Pink Electric Guitar, $600

- Viking helmet, click on the belt buckle of the supernova suit, and open it four times to get the blue viking helmet.
- Click on the pressure thing in the middle of the diving suit for the diving helmet, $650.
- Click in the top left corner of the green tabard fo the woodsman’s hat, $200
- Click on the ribbon of the emerald hat to get the Crystal staff, $250
- Click on the right hand Green Boot for the Cheesy necktie, $125
In the wig catalog, the new items are:
- The Suprema Diva, $650
- The Messiness, $500
The hidden item is:
- Click on the spikester to get the spikette
The new pin hasn’t been released yet, so check back later for updates on that.

Ok, first up, there’s a new newspaper out, so heres all the stuff in it:
- A double page article on Rockhopper’s arrival back at the island
- An update on the upcoming Penguin mail…Not much new info there.
- An ‘In Focus’ Feature on the Migrator, mostly just ‘quotes’ from Rockhopper and an explanation on how to play the Treasure Hunt game.
- Ask Aunt Arctic questions on where does the Club Penguin Band hang out when they’re not performing (and you care why???) and why you can only have 100 buddies.
- A tip on fashion advice by Perduccie
- A review on popular pins, by Spring Lover. Verdict was that they were captain Rockhoppers key and the basketball pin
- A find-a-word about superheroes
- A poem by Klara88789, great artwork…
- Upcoming events-Tomorrow there will be new clothing and wig catalogs and a new pin… check back tomorrow for updates on that.
- Aunt Arctic is looking for a review on what penguins think of Rockhopper and tips on how to put together a great play.
There have also been 2 new blog updates on the CPIP blog , the first one on a login feature update:
Hello Penguins!
Finding buddies faster than you can right now is really important. So the idea behind the new login feature is to help you find the servers where your buddies are quickly.
Here’s the new login design. Beneath it is the the current login you’re familiar with.
The new login shows you the servers you and your friends visit most frequently. In the current system you have to choose a country and then choose from a long list of servers that you may or may not visit.
For those of you who really like to see the entire list of servers, you’ll definitely be able to do that too. But the default view will be grouped by servers you visit most with your friends–wherever you’re from.
As always let us know what you think and what else you’d like to see with a login feature.

Hello Penguins!
I mentioned last week that we have been working hard on fixing some bugs and listening to your comments. As a result, we’ve made some changes…
The first change was with the new player card. We heard a lot of great feedback after our last post about the player card and one major concern was not having a quick view when putting your outfits together. So we went back to the drawing board and fixed it. Here’s a design of what it will look like.
We wanted to make sure you could still sort all your items by category (like the current furniture inventory) but also view everything together. And it was really important to make sure you could view the items on your penguin as soon as you selected them.
The new design definitely allows for that, and we kept the ‘clear outfit’ button!
I heard today that the team hopes to have the features ready to launch in a couple weeks. You know what that means! As soon as they launch, and you have a chance to check them out be sure to let us know how it all works!

This mission wasn’t released until a long time after the first one, in November 2006 (I think…there was one released then…) Anyway never mind all that, here’s a guide.
1. Go to HQ and open the mission.
2. Talk to G at the Sport Shop and say that you’re here to recieve your mission. The secret word is ‘mogul.’
3. Pick up the sled and take it to the Ski Mountain. Take it out of your inventoy and click on the test run.
4. You will start going down a track. Try and avoid the obstacles, but the sled will crash anyway. You control the sled by moving your mouse from side to side.
5. When you wake up from the crash you will find yourself in the wilderness of club penguin. Pick up the rope in front of you and put it in your inventory.
6. Move the screen around to the right and pick up the survival guide.
7. Move into the screen behind the survival guide and pick 3 ‘O’ berries from the bush in the middle of the screen and put them in your inventory.
8. Move the screen around to the right until you get to the tree with the saucepan sticking out of it. Click on the trunk of the tree until it falls onto the ground. Pick it up and put it into your inventory.
9. Move into the screen behind the ‘O’ Berry bush, with the tree stump in it.
10. Click on the puffles playing there so that all of them except the black one run away.
11. Give the black ouffle an ‘O’ Berry. It will start to follow you.
12. Move around to the far left and go into the next screen.
13. Pick up the ski stuck in the bush and put it into your inventory, with the rope, to create a fishing rod. Add one of the ‘O’ berries from your inventory for bait.
14. Move around to the left and go into the next screen, and then back into the screen with the ‘O’ berry bush in it. Move to the far left and go to the river.
15. Pick up the log in the far right of the screen.
16. Go to the river.
17. Pick up the pot from your inventory and click on the river.
18. Pick up the fishing rod from your inventory and click on the river. You will catch a fish. Pick it up and put it into your inventory.
19. Go into the screen with the cave. Click on the bushes outside the cave, and then go inside.
20. Once you are in the cave, go to the right, and click one of the small rocks on the floor of the cave. The rocks will come together around the hole to create a fireplace.
21. Take the log an the survival guide out of your inventory and put them in the fireplace.
22. Give the black puffle another ‘O’ berry and it will light the fire.
23. Put the fish and then the water on the fire (click on them to eat/drink them).
24. Once you have drunk the water, you will fall asleep, and then wake up when you hear something outside. It is another agent, come to look for you. Once you have talked to him and G back at HQ, the mission ends.

A new pin came out. It’s a basketball, and can be found at the pizza parlour, on the oven (I swear they’ve used that hiding place before, but anyway…)
A new furniature catalog also came out. Here’s the artwork from the front of it.

There has also been a earthquake in the town, which i didn’t notice before. I think it probably has something to do with the new mission, which is coming out early next week. Here’s a picture.

Heres a guide for the ‘Paint by Letters’ book ‘Burnt Out Bulbs.’ It was launched in March 2008, along with the book “My Puffle”.
Objective: To type out the story and gain coins.
Controls: You use the letters on your keyboard to type out the main story, and click your mouse button to gain the extra coins (more about that later).
Rewards: You get 220 coins for the basic book, 40 coins for every bonus coin you find and 300 coins if you find all the bonus coins, so if you find everything, you get a total of 800 coins.
Where: The game is in the book room.
Coin Locations:
Page 1: Once you have typed ‘burned out,’ knock the puck (the round thing out the side of the page with your mouse. It will come back with the coin.
Page 2: Before typing anything, click in the top left corner of the picture and there will be a coin there.
Page 3: Once the picture comes up pull open the lid of the piano and there will be a coin inside.
Page 4: Once the image of the ski lodge comes up, click on the cukoo clock and the bird will come out with the coin.
[NOTE: For this guide choose DJ from the choice between DJ/viking/alien]
Page 5: Okay, this ones difficult. You have to pull the floorboards back in this order. Right, Left, Up, Down. It might take a while to get it right, as they spring back after a while, depending on how quickly you pull them back. It took me ages to keep them back long enough to get an image of it…
Page 6: For this one you have to change the colours of the dance floor to match the colours of the poster, bu clicking on the squares until you get the right colours.
Page 7: Once you can see the rink, pull up thecircle in the middle and the coin will be underneath, but you have to catch the coin before the circle drops back in again.
If you got all the extra coins you should get a total of 800 coins, as above.

Squishy: Hey all! Gosh…I was gunning to get the post done first and I find out Roz has already done it. Lol, thanks Roz. I just wanted to let everyone know that even though this was updated pretty quickly, Roz and I are very busy lately as we have exams. We will try and post though, but if you can’t find the latest news here why not try another great CP wordpress? I’m not advertising for competitors…but it’s all friendly round here!
